It is a true and exclusive retreat, located in the heart of the Douro region. It is the renovation of one of the houses in the property, surrounded by an extensive vineyard and a green landscape, where the architectural project was carefully integrated. The house has 7 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and 1 pool, with an elegant and modern décor without ever forgetting the past, creating an atmosphere of natural beauty and tranquillity.

In the historic village of Provesende lies Casa do Santo, a manor house built in the 18th century. The coat of arms of this house was granted by letter patent from Queen Maria I on May 6th, 1786, making it truly unique. Joaquim de Azevedo Leite Pereira, the 10th lord of this house, was known as the "Savior of the Douro" due to his crucial role in eradicating the devastating phylloxera plague that ravaged the region in the 19th century. His dedication and passion for winemaking made history in the Douro region.
A vineyard filled with indigenous grape varieties (red and white), which make up the unique flavors of Pinheiro da Veiga Heritage wines. The brand produces Douro wine, Pinheiro da Veiga brand, and Porto, Casa do Santo brand.
